Dick's Bar & Grill

I walked into Dick's Bar & Grill with the kind of hunger that writes sonnets in ketchup. The room hummed like a jukebox on a sugar high. Wood, neon, laughter—an agreeable little thunderstorm. A stool beckoned like a confessional with fries as absolution.

Cheese curds arrived in golden armor, steam whispering like stage fog. Each bite gave a clean squeak, a tiny choir in grease tuxedos. Salt did the sermon, ranch did the altar call.

The burger strutted in, haloed by fries that smelled like fairground memory. Patty seared to a confident crust, juice humming under a soft bun. Pickles snapped like paparazzi shutters, lettuce tried to look innocent. I nodded, then kept eating like a thief who found religion.

Tap beer came cold enough to give time a chill. A cocktail leaned bright, citrus teasing the edges of my grin. TVs murmured with games, conversation rose like warm bread. Service moved with easy precision, no fuss, no theater.

I stepped back into the night carrying a ketchup epiphany with a very calm stomach. This spot tells the truth in grease, then polishes it with charm. I recommend this restaurant to others. 9 out of 10.
